Rappel du premier message :

here is an English test that i found it and i hope it would help you

Science technology
Science technology can be found in nearly all aspects of everyday life. For instance, if electricity had never been discovered, electric appliances, heaters, lights, and television would never exist. Electronic components found in radios, televisions, watches, and calculators are now smaller and more reliable than before. Advances in electronics are responsible for what is called the computer age. Because of the computer technology, information can be processed in seconds.
At one time, computers were extremely expensive. They were rarely found outside the laboratories and large businesses. Since they are now more economically made, computers can be found in many homes, schools, stores, and libraries. Computers facilitate travel plans by providing travel agents with easy access to flight schedules, prices, and seating availability. Businesses use computers to track inventory, purchase and sell stocks, calculate payrolls and perform many other functions. Computers are also used as educational devices in schools, to monitor home-heating systems, and to guide satellite and space probes. In the future computers may have microprocessors produced in outer space, because the environment there is devoid of the Earth’s dust and gravitational forces.

The battle against disease and illness has also gained much from science. Safer surgical procedures are now in use including those for organ transplantation and coronary bypass surgery. Many procedures have been improved because of the development of specialized medical instruments. Some instruments enable physicians to see inside the body without making a single incision. Others can carry out essential bodily functions, such as pumping blood or breathing. Medical researches are making progress toward the production of artificial blood, which may eventually eliminate the threat of contracting diseases transmitted during blood transfusions. One such disease is acquired immune deficiency syndrome, also know as AIDS. This fatal disease attacks the immune system, rendering it incapable of warding off infections.
Elliot Mitchell, Science teacher, Latin School of Chicago

i think i can help you ^^ so i tried my best to find the lesson about conditional :-) i hOpe you understand it ^^

Conditional I :

Form: If you leave now , you will arrive on time. (Open conditional referring to the future.)
If + present + future

(We use it when we speak about future activities which are really possible).

* If you don’t leave now , you won’t arrive on time.

Unless you leave now , you won’t arrive on time.

Conditional II :

Form: If I had some money , I would buy a sandwich. (but I have no money)

If + simple past + Conditional

(We use it when we suppose or imagine what would happen if present or future circumstances were different).
Conditional III :

Form: If they had played well , they would have won the match. (referring to the past)
If + past perfect + conditional perfect

(We use it when we suppose or imagine what would have happened if past circumstances had been different).

· If they had played well , they wouldn’t be with us here now.

· Cause in the past Consequence in the present
Wishes :

Form: I wish/if only I had some money. (but I have no money)

(We use it to express regrets or wishes concerning present circumstances).

Form: I wish /if only I hadn’t eaten so much meat. (I ate much meat on ‘Aid Adha’ and I’m sick)

(We use it to express regrets or wishes about past circumstances)

that's it Smile i hope u understand ^^ because it's very easy just concentrate ^^

miss compta a écrit:I need something about "passif voice"!!

My car has been stolen. On a volé ma voiture; je ne sais pas qui l'a fait. J'aurais pu dire 'Somebody has stolen my car' (voix active).
A new office block is being built in the city centre.
A new cancer treatment has been discovered by scientists in Sweden.
The suspect was questioned before being released.

    • sont à la voix passive aussi;
    • ont un verbe pronominal, Ex. Cela ne se fait pas — That just isn't done;
    • sont du genre "on...", Ex. On m'a invité à une fête — I've been invited to a party.

Exemples

Voici quelques exemples:

  • Présent simple: Ex. Football is played in most countries — le football est joué dans la plupart des pays.
  • Présent continu: Ex. My car is being repaired — ma voiture est en train d'être réparée.
  • Prétérit simple: Ex. The eclipse was seen only in the northern hemisphere — l'éclipse a été vue seulement dans l'hémisphère nord.
  • Prétérit continu: Ex. My hair was being cut when the accident happened — j'étais en train de me faire couper les cheveux lorsque l'accident s'est produit.
  • Present Perfect simple: Ex. The fugitive has been arrested — on a arrêté le fugitif.
  • Futur: Ex. A new version of Linux will be released soon — une nouvelle version de Linux sera bientôt commercialisée.
  • Infinitif: Ex. Computer discs should be defragmented regularly — les disques durs devraient être défragmentés régulièrement.
  • Passé de l'infinitif: Ex. My car must have been stolen; it's no longer where I left it — ma voiture a dû être volée; elle n'est plus là où je l'ai laissée.
  • Gérondif: Ex. Most people like receiving presents — la plupart des gens aiment recevoir des cadeaux.
  • Gérondif passé: Ex. We were angry at having been deceived — nous étions en colère parce qu'on nous avait trompés.

why they smoke:
to run away from problems:when they smoke they forget troubles
because their friends smoke too so they do as their friends
his father smokes so the student try to be as his father
they think that cigarette is a sign of responsability and modernity
effect
they spend much money to buy cigarettes
when they don't find money they steal so they become unfaithful to their parents
they can't take care of their studies as they think during the lesson to smoke
